Policies & Guidelines
At MCET, clear policies and guidelines help ensure transparency, consistency and a positive experience for our students and families. This section provides important information on matters related to fees, withdrawals and other aspects of school admission and enrolment,
 and will be updated as new policies are introduced.

Fee Policy

  • The Academic year starts from March and ends in the following February.
  • Fee for the academic year is to be paid in two half-yearly instalments.
    • First instalment – for the months March to August, to be paid by 28th February
    • Second instalment – for the months September to February, to be paid by 31st August.
  • All fees are to be paid according to the fee structure for the academic year.
  • After the stipulated date of payment, a late fee will be levied as applicable at that time.
  • Fees may be paid in any one of the following ways
    • Online through the School website
    • Through the mobile App (Edusprint)
  • No fees will be refunded. Extra fees will be adjusted against the next year.


Withdrawal Policy

 The School Leaving Certificate will not be granted unless all the outstanding dues are paid and all books are returned to the Library.
  • Application for a Leaving Certificate mid-term or end of the term, will be considered only after payment of all fees due, along with late fees, if any, according to the guidelines given below:

For all School Leaving Certificate applications received on or after 1st March 2026 – full fees for the academic year 2026-27 will be payable.



REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT POLICY (Applicable from Academic Year 2027–28)​

1. This policy applies to all new admissions from Academic Year
2027–28 onwards.
2. Students admitted prior to AY 2027–28 are not covered under this
policy.
3. A refundable deposit shall be paid in full at the time of admission.
4. The deposit must be paid along with Installment I of fees.
5. Admission will be confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit and
Installment I.
6. The deposit shall be interest-free.
7. All dues, fees, and charges must be fully cleared before initiation of
the refund process.
8. Refund will be initiated in the following cases:
a. Upon submission of a formal Leaving Certificate (LC) application,
or
b. Upon issuance of School Leaving Certificate after completion of
ICSE/ISC Board examinations.
9. Refunds will be processed only after submission and verification of
the original deposit receipt issued at the time of admission.
10. The Principal’s approval is mandatory for processing the refund.
11. Refund shall be processed within 45 working days from the date of
completion of all exit formalities.
12. Payment will be made electronically to the parent’s registered
bank account only.
13. Issuance of the Leaving Certificate will be governed strictly by the
School’s Withdrawal Policy in force at the time of exit.
14. The School Management reserves the right to revise the deposit
amount and policy terms, if required, with due approval.
