The House System

One of the main objectives of the House System is to foster in the students a sense of belonging and collective responsibility, as well as nurture the talent latent in every child.

There are four Houses in the School for students of Preparatory Level, Middle Level and Secondary School, each named after a famous personality, whose qualities would always be a source of motivation for all Cooperites.

Bhabha House - Blue

Homi J. Bhabha – symbolises perfection, purpose and excellence. We wish to instill these qualities in our students.

Nehru House - Red

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru – symbolises embracing modernity while respecting our secular Indian culture, which is how we hope our Cooperites will grow up.

Naidu House - Green

Sarojini Naidu – symbolises pure honesty, social responsibility and patriotism. Every student should imbibe these qualities.

Tagore House - Yellow

Rabindranath Tagore – symbolises a profound sensitivity and expressiveness, the soft skill set that makes a person well-rounded.
