Academics

This year was full of challenges for us. After a gap of over 18 months, all our students were back to school and our teachers had a challenging time in bridging the gap of learning and writing. It was only possible because we were ably supported by the management and Trustees, who patiently stood by us. We also acknowledge and praise the dedication and hard work of the teachers.

We had 1750 students on roll in the year 2022-2023, of which 801 were girls and 949 were boys. We had 75 teaching staff and 53 non-teaching staff. We maintained a teacher-student ratio of 1:23.

The performance being much lower than previous years, it was decided to analyse the results, batchwise for the past 5 years and to submit an Executive Summary, outlining the reasons for poor performance and any further action to be taken to ensure better performance in the next batch of ICSE students. As a result, several initiatives were taken to improve the grades of the students of Stds. IX & X (the next two batches).

As a result of this intervention, the aggregate score of the Std. X students who would be answering the ICSE 2023 examination are as follows.
